The latest article The Australian Capital Territory (ACT) has announced it will allow people to rent cars through its car rental service.
The government announced on Monday that it will introduce a pilot scheme to allow people who own a car to rent it.
The Government said the scheme will allow residents of the ACT to use their car for short-term travel to and from the city and the bush.
“We are not in the business of taking people to the edge of the world to do it,” ACT Chief Minister Adam Giles said.
“There are people who are just looking to get out and do a bit of leisure time and it is a great way for them to get away.”
“So we’re going to see whether that works or not and we’ll be consulting with them, whether that will be a good way to do that or not.”
The ACT Government said it will not charge people to use the car rental scheme, which will run for a month.
“The car rental will be provided by the ACT Government and its rental agents, which we’re proud of,” the Government said in a statement.
“Our aim is to ensure everyone can access a safe and affordable car rental.”
It’s been estimated that up to 60,000 people use this scheme each year.
“So I am pleased to announce that the Government will continue to provide these services in the ACT.”
“This is a pilot, and we will continue working closely with the ACT Car Rental Association and other local agencies to provide a safe, reliable and affordable service for residents of ACT.”
What is car parking?
The car parking service is a new service that will allow car rental owners and renters to park their cars.
“You can book up to one vehicle for a fixed rate of $50 per week,” the statement said.
A car rental company is a company that has leased a car for a certain period of time, typically around one to two years.
“This service will be operated by local car rental companies in the local area and their agents,” the ACT said.
People who want to rent a car can choose to rent the vehicle through their car rental or through a local vehicle hire company.
“They can also choose to pay for their vehicle with their credit or debit card.”
In the case of a vehicle hire, they can also pay for the vehicle themselves, through their credit card,” the Minister said.
